A bit more about Hannah Williams
Hannah Williams is the founder and head coach of Williams Tennis, offering private tennis lessons in Orillia, Oro-Medonte, and surrounding areas.
Tennis has been a lifelong passion for Hannah. Growing up in the countryside, she had limited access to lessons or tournaments—between financial constraints and her parents’ demanding work schedules, structured tennis wasn't always possible. But that never stopped her. She spent hours biking to local courts hoping to find someone to rally with—and when no one showed up, she’d hit against the practice wall or serve into the side of her parents’ barn. If there was a way to play, she found it.
That same passion and resourcefulness now fuel her coaching. At Williams Tennis, Hannah’s goal is to make tennis inclusive, fun, and accessible for everyone—whether someone is picking up a racquet for the first time, returning after years away, or looking to refine their technique. She meets players where they’re at, helping them build confidence, skill, and a lasting love for the game. She’s especially passionate about supporting junior players and families who may face barriers to access—because she knows how important it is to be given a fair shot. Wherever someone is starting from, she’ll find a way to make it work.
Based in Orillia, Hannah coaches across Simcoe County, working with both juniors and adults through one-on-one coaching, semi-private lessons, and small group sessions. As a female tennis coach, she’s also committed to creating a supportive space for women and girls in sport.
Hannah trains on and off the court six days a week, combining match play with strength training, running, and cycling. Her own playing style is centered around powerful serves and aggressive baseline play, but through coaching, she has developed a deep respect for all playing styles—and loves helping others discover and lean into their own strengths.
Above all, Hannah is dedicated to growing a strong, welcoming tennis community in Orillia and Oro-Medonte—creating more opportunities for people of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds to stay active, connect, and enjoy the game.
